INTRODUCTION
Most people who find their way to me are already planning something significant — a sleeve, a back piece, a composition that’s been sitting in their head for a while. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place.
I started tattooing in 2014 and have spent the years since narrowing in on what feels most like me — large-scale colour work with a surreal sensibility. I’m drawn to pieces that ask something of the imagination, not just the technique, and most of what I take on now sits somewhere in that space.
Each piece I take on is large-scale and entirely custom — designed around how you move and where your lines naturally fall, so the composition reads as one complete idea rather than something stamped on top of you.

The Grey Heron
The Grey Heron sits inside Art House on Friar Gate, in one of Derby’s oldest creative buildings. It’s a private studio designed to feel calm and considered, built around making sure every client is comfortable from the moment they arrive.
The space is appointment-only, which keeps the focus on the work and gives every session the room it needs to unfold naturally.
Life outside the studio
Outside of tattooing I’m someone who enjoys exploring many different interests. I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2023, which probably explains my curiosity and tendency to dive enthusiastically into new hobbies and ideas.
When I’m not in the studio you’ll usually find me travelling, climbing, or snowboarding. I live on a narrowboat, which suits my love for adventure and the freedom to move between places.
I’m also a big foodie and love discovering new restaurants and cuisines whenever I travel.
I tend to keep life fairly light and don’t take myself too seriously. Some days I’m very social and enjoy meeting new people, while other times I’m perfectly happy retreating into my own world and focusing on creative work.
