FAQs
-
To begin a project, please submit an enquiry through the booking form on the website. Include as much information as possible about your idea, placement, and approximate size. From there, Kimmi will review the enquiry and get in touch if the project feels like a good fit.
-
Yes. Consultations are available for clients who would like to discuss their project in more detail before booking. This is an opportunity to talk through ideas, placement, and the overall direction of the piece, as well as learn more about Kimmi’s process.
-
Yes. Most appointments are booked as full-day sessions. This allows the work to develop naturally without rushing the process and provides the time needed to focus fully on larger compositions.
-
Larger compositions such as sleeves or panel pieces are often completed across multiple full-day sessions. The exact number of sessions depends on the size, placement, and complexity of the design. Working this way allows the piece to develop gradually while maintaining balance, detail, and flow with the body.
-
Designs are typically developed closer to the appointment date. Because each project is created specifically for the body and placement, final adjustments are often made on the day of the session to ensure the composition fits naturally.
-
Kimmi specialises in colour realism and surreal compositions, often combining different elements to create balanced, large-scale pieces designed specifically for the body.
-
Sessions are designed to feel calm and unhurried. Clients are welcomed into a relaxed studio environment where the focus remains on the artwork and the experience of the day.
Full-day sessions include time to rest throughout the process, and refreshments and lunch are provided to keep you comfortable.
You can read more about what a typical session is like on the Experience section on the home page

When planning a large tattoo, it’s important to look for an artist whose portfolio shows consistent quality, strong composition, and experience with large-scale work. Choosing an artist whose style you genuinely connect with is one of the most important factors in creating a piece you will enjoy for years to come.
